Aircraft take-off and land on a runway. It is the place at an airport where aircraft move at the fastest speed, which means there is little or no room for error. The runway is a major danger zone where incursions/excursions occur every day at airports around the world. And the worst accidents in aviation history occured in the runway vicinity. Runways and runway equipment must endure heavy weight, high pressure, rubber from warm tires and so on which increase the importance of high quality products and solutions.
